It can be done

Here’s a 30 second gem that does everything right. It’s funny, smart, and effectively communicates the product’s benefit. Is Power Grab a dream client? Or did a team of creatives spend months trying to convince them that this would work?


A friend of mine had just been promoted to CD and was attending his first budget meeting. The VPs were considering whether to hire more media buyers for the agency’s recently won big account. Everyone agreed that more people were needed. In fact, the client had been complaining that the agency needed to staff up. Suddenly the General Manager spoke up. “If we hire more people, we won’t be able to afford our Christmas bonuses.” A few minutes later, the VPs decided not to hire any addition staff. Two years later, the account was gone.
